IDOL Films Limited was formed by Asad Sultan and Lawrence Gray to develop and produce original independent feature films in Asia with crossover potential to international audiences.
Asad Sultan is a financier currently on the advisory board for Cinema Capital India, a film finance fund for Indian movies and an advisor for Moving Picture Company. He is also a director of Red Snapper Malaysia's leading wireless technology company and has recently helped set up a new Motion Capture facility company in Perak.
Lawrence Gray is currently shooting a number of short films and developing low budget comedies to be made in Hong Kong in both English and Cantonese. He regularly teaches screenwriting in Singapore and Hong Kong.
